Festas de Santo António

As Festas de Santo António in Lisbon, held annually in June, celebrate the city’s patron saint with vibrant street parties, traditional food, and music.
The highlight is on June 12th, featuring lively parades in the Alfama district and “marchas populares” (folk parades) that fill the streets with color and rhythm.
Locals and visitors alike enjoy grilled sardines, basil plants with poetic verses, and dancing until dawn.
